EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the arrangement of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) treatment in Malaysia and was established by Wisconsin Early Autism Job (WEAP) in September 2006. For all therapists, an initial training including 20 hours of classes and 3 weeks on hand-held training is called for before beginning collaborate with a youngster with autism after which routine fortnightly if not regular guidance is offered with regular overlaps and team meetings.
In addition, WEAP's published research in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 concern) followed Dr. Ivar Lovaas' study in 1987 and 1993 where 48% of the children who took part in the intensive behavioural treatment had the ability to catch up and take part efficiently in typical school.
Each child at EAP is appointed a team of specialists that what services are available for my autistic child overseen by a Supervisor on a biweekly basis and an Elderly Manager on a bimonthly basis in addition to the WEAP Progress Reviews two times a year. EAP continues to preserve world-class high quality ABA treatment as we continue to have our moms and dad firm WEAP manage our youngsters two times a year.
Dr. Glen Sallows joined the introducing research with Dr. Ivar Lovaas and has brought this first-rate treatment to hundreds of individuals with autism in the UK, Australia, Canada and Malaysia over the last 2 decades. Play Skills are important to a kid's development.
