The Hope Task
EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the provision of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was established by Wisconsin Early Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. For all therapists, a first training consisting of 20 hours of classes and 3 weeks on hand-held training is called for before starting collaborate with a child with autism after which routine fortnightly if not once a week supervision is provided with regular overlaps and group meetings.
Early Autism Task Malaysia (EAP) is a service provider for people with autism. The reason for the several degrees of supervision is that the autism spectrum is extremely wide and the variety each child has in terms of strengths, challenges and age calls for a high level of experience.
